Karen Harding - LLB, B Plan
Barrister
- Bachelor of Laws Degree, Victoria University, Wellington, 1997.
- Bachelor of Planning Degree, Auckland University, 1992.
- Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, 1997.
- New Zealand Law Society Certificate for successful completion of Advanced Litigation Skills Programme, 2005.
- Holds a current Practising Certificate as a Barrister from the New Zealand Law Society.
Continuing Education
Karen is currently completing papers towards a Master of Laws
degree. In July 2008 Karen completed a research paper entitled
Psychopathy and Crime Sentencing and Parole Issues in New
Zealand. This knowledge in the area of psychopathy has given
Karen an insight into the driving factors behind some serious
offending in New Zealand.
Karen is also currently working on a further research paper
on the Fundamental Principles of Criminal Law dealing
with the law on duress and necessity.
